Airport Competition
Kilograph was awarded the highest recognition given by the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, the Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize, for our rendering created in collaboration with HOK Architects. This project was about more than architectural form, it was about capturing the human experience within the space. The Kilograph team focused on the personal moments and emotional connections a space can inspire, pushing beyond traditional architectural visuals to tell a deeper story, which is the heart of Kilograph’s approach to visual storytelling.

Finding solace in an airport is rare, especially when the goal is to feel connected to nature. HOK’s priority for this project was to emphasize these calming, personal moments, putting user experience ahead of highlighting the full architectural vision. It was a great challenge to try and capture these more close-up interactions.

It's an exciting collaboration when the client wants to focus on the personal, emotional moments that a new space and concept can evoke.
